Originally born and raised in Sooke, British Columbia, Kyra and her husband made the move to the Cariboo in 2023 to pursue a dream they had shared for years: building a quieter life in a log home on acreage, surrounded by nature and the animals they love. Today, they share their home with three adventurous dogs, two cats, and a growing collection of outdoor pursuits that make the Cariboo feel like home.
When she’s not helping clients secure financing, you’ll usually find Kyra embracing everything the region has to offer. This past July, she spent several days canoeing the breathtaking Nazko Lake Chain with her three dogs and husband— an experience that perfectly reflects her love of adventure, the outdoors, and the peaceful pace of life found in British Columbia’s backcountry. She also enjoys fishing, hunting, horseback riding, snowshoeing, gardening, and spending as much time outside as possible.
